It is the beginning of a fun, new year here at Fox Road – we are enjoying the sunshine finally - which is helping to keep the summer holiday feelings going. We have started off creating lots of floral designs and gift boxes for a wide variety of occasions. New babies arriving, purchasing of new homes, the loss of loved ones, birthdays of all ages, thankyous for the extra efforts over the Christmas season and of course the ‘I love you’ flowers. Our days are never the same with so many ways to send flowers and gift boxes to let people know you are thinking of them.
The summer season has many gorgeous New Zealand grown flowers that look wonderful in bouquets. Some of the most popular ones are Sunflowers, Gerberas, Delphiniums, Roses, Hydrangeas, Lilies, Lisianthus, Zinnias, Alstromeria, Celosia, Chrysanthemums, Sedum, Marigold, Gladiola and ofcourse Statice. If you are lucky enough to have access to some of these beauties, sieze the opportunity to try your hand at arranging them yourself :)
